A Snapshot into ICI

Individual lessons will be scheduled throughout the three weeks of the program. All accepted participants will receive at least 6 lessons during their three weeks at ICI.

Every student will have multiple performance opportunities during masterclasses (in-person and online) with world-renowned cellists and pedagogues.

Workshops will be offered to cellists on technique, score reading, etude study, the art of practicing, and efficient management of time. All workshop facilitators will encourage student participation and involvement.

Guest artists and speakers, along with core faculty, will deliver presentations on a range of topics.

It is important to us that our students develop tools to connect with community members. In the planning of community outreach events, we guide students through public speaking techniques and how to address audiences.
