ST. OLAF COLLEGE

We are fortunate to hold ICI on the beautiful campus of St. Olaf college! St. Olaf College is a private liberal arts college in Northfield, Minnesota. It was founded in 1874 by a group of Norwegian-American pastors and farmers. Today it is a thriving liberal arts college and the International Cello Institute is proud to hold our summer program on the campus. There, we have access to state of the art practice rooms, rehearsal rooms, large masterclass spaces and beautiful pianos, and Urness RecitalHall, located within the Christiansen Hall of Music.

The campus is a safe, walkable environment and ICI students stay in an updated, air-conditioned dorm close-by to the music facilities. Students have the option to use the gym facilities in the Skoglund-Tostrud center during specific hours while they attend ICI. The cafeteria, Stav Hall is located in Buntrock Commons and provides locally sourced food and caters to all dietary restrictions.
