HOUSE CONCERT ON AUGUST 1, 2024.

This is a wonderful, personal, and intimate opportunity to listen to and mingle with the principal cellist of the Boston Symphony, Blaise Déjardin. Come and enjoy a glass of wine while listening to Blaise perform some movements from the Bach Suites for Cello Solo.
This concert will be held on August 1, 2024, while he is in town teaching at the International Cello Institute. We look forward to experiencing this with you!
The winning bidders will all be given instructions about specifics of the evening, such as arrival time and address closer to the event.

A Solo or Family Professional Photo Shoot with Grace M. Alexander
A PHOTOSHOOT OF YOUR CHOICE, INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP
Value: $100
A 1-hour photo session with Grace M. Alexander, violinist and photographer. This session can include anything from professional individual headshots to family photos (up to 10 people)! You will receive fully edited photos within 2 weeks of the session. Grace has experience with photographing people of all ages, in a variety of environments - and she looks forward to working with you!
Location of the session will be mutually agreed upon between Grace and the winning bidder, but must take place between July 14 and August 7, 2024.

A Professional Photoshoot with Leslie Shank
A PORTRAIT PHOTOSHOOT
Value: $100
A Portrait Photo Shoot with Leslie Shank, Board Chair of ICI, former Assistant Concertmaster of The St Paul Chamber Orchestra, and Photographer. Photography has been a long time passion, and Leslie has done many publicity photos for local musicians, samples of her work shown below.
The winning bidder will schedule the session at a mutually agreeable time and it must occur before January 27, 2025.

House of Note: One Certificate for a Bow Rehair
ONE BOW REHAIR CERTIFICATE FOR ANY STRING INSTRUMENT

House of Note is a full-service violin shop that has served the community since 1959. Bow repair and rehairs are offered for players of all levels, from beginners to Minnesota professionals.
Chris is currently studying cello at the University of Cape Town. Born in Durban, South Africa, Chris studied cello for about 9 years. He was self-taught at the beginning of his “cello journey” and is passionate about solo playing and chamber music.
He was our first applicant, had a strong audition, and we have admitted him to the program and have offered him a $3000 scholarship to attend ICI this summer. We will be providing a cello for him to use during ICI. The airfare between Cape Town and Minneapolis is expensive, so to make it possible for him to attend ICI we need to raise more funds. Below is a breakdown of costs:
Full Tuition Cost: $4050
Airfare - Delta Airlines Economy Fare: $2250 for one seat (Round Trip)
Chris has shared with us that he has been following ICI for many years on social media and wants to attend because he loves the passion behind our program, the projects we do, and the way we bring people together to learn.
He loves to travel and is excited by the prospect of meeting new people, making new memories, and connecting meaningfully.
We have raised about half of the funds needed in order to have Chris join us in the summer. Please consider making a donation to help us reach our goal!
